I am Leticia Souto, a rising sophomore hoping to pursue Mechanical or Civil Engineering at Rice University. Sustainable and altruistic needs motivate me as I desire to take part in the innovation that will increase accessibility of green, affordable resources worldwide.
At Rice I am mainly involved with Engineers Without Borders’ construction and Spanish communication teams, XA Rice (Christian Organization), and HACER (Latino Students on Campus).
One thing I was proud of creating was detailed Café manuals for each station of a Café I worked at. Each of the 7 binders contained the overarching theme and with every possible information needed including clean up, restocking, recipes etc.
This summer I would really would like to design and create a 3D printed model on my own. I hope learn more about communicating with a team and truly mastering group dynamic flow from start to finish.
