Another of my favorite tours was that of Ducati, where we got to see the whole plant on the inside with all the workers. It is interesting how they manufacture the camshafts and crankshafts in-house and then import everything else for assembly there. A classmate pointed out that they decrease the weight of the camshafts by half just by polishing them.
We even got to see testing of some bikes in the final sections of the assembly.
Extra: We found some IBM offices nearby as well while getting food.
