In week 2, class got into full swing and I really began to settle into living in Bologna. One highlight from this week was visiting the Ducati Museum and factory. Here we were able to see countless motorcycles beginning from Ducati’s transition from a radio manufacturer to a motorcycle producer all the way to the present. Their hall of bikes was amazing and going into the factory to see the production line was very interesting.
Additionally, over the weekend I had the privilege of going to Imola for the F1 qualifiers. This was my first time experiencing an event like this and it was a ton of fun. Even though I was unable to watch the actual race. Watching the drivers try for the best lap possible made for a really great viewing experience. The amazing speed of the cars made the 2km hike to our viewing spot well worth it.
