Hola todo el mundo! By the time we reach the last day maybe my entire blog will be in Spanish. Mi nombre es Emmanuella and I am an incoming Senior at Rice! I am studying Cognitive Science and currently in the process of learning Spanish at Rice. Although I go to school in Houston I’m actually from a little suburb in Massachusetts!
In my free time I love to play volleyball, read some books (any genre tbh) and I also really love to run!!! I’ve been playing volleyball since I was in caption and now I’m a rice (club) volleyball captain so yayyy. 
As for running I actually really love running in Houston even though for about 98% of my runs I have tripped and fell on the cement ground because of how horrible the sidewalks here are. I mainly love running here because of the cool views I get to take a picture of each run.
In addition to these hobbies I actually have a lot of interests, but in particular I love doing work where I get to mix my technical skills with some humanitarian/social work. That was actually one reason I really wanted to do iSEED Mexico because this feels like a small glimspe of what a potential career for me could be like.
I’ve done so much research on CDMX and San Cristobal and I know that this trip will be really exciting!
