Hello Everyone! I am Isabella Soto, and I am a rising senior from Will Rice College studying Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Engineering Design. I am from Brownsville, TX and I am Mexican American. I am so excited for iSEED in Mexico and taking EDES 350 and CEVE 314! This is my first time visiting both Mexico City and San Cristobal de Las Casas. Since I am an electrical engineering major, learning about water systems, is something very different from my usual coursework ad so exciting.
Salsa Performance at RITMO Showcase
A little bit about me is that I am very involved with the Society of Hispanic Professionals in Engineering (SHPE), and I love Salsa dancing (sometimes give classes)! As for my career goals, I would love to get my Master’s in Electrical Engineering and then get a job in the tech field. This summer I will be interning at HP under their engineering gaming displays team. There I will learn about the engineering behind monitors, and grow my professional skills!
